Dusita, Sierra Bullones, Bohol — July 4, 2025
Dusita High School officially opened the new academic year with its First Monthly Mass held on July 4, 2025, at the school’s covered court. The solemn gathering brought the entire school community together in a shared moment of worship, gratitude, and reflection.
The Mass was uniquely led by three respected religious leaders, representing different faith traditions: Fr. Christian A. Calipes of the Roman Catholic Church, Pastor Ron Sheridan Guilaran representing the Non-Catholic community, and Fr. Rev. Richard B. Cafe of YIFI. Their united presence emphasized the school’s openness to diverse beliefs while maintaining a strong spiritual foundation.
Fr. Calipes opened the celebration with the Holy Mass and encouraged students to walk their educational journey with faith and integrity. Pastor Guilaran followed with a short reflection, inspiring the students to be kind, diligent, and respectful in both academics and personal life. Fr. Rev. Cafe concluded with a motivational message that reminded everyone of their purpose and potential as young individuals guided by spiritual strength.
The Mass was well attended by students from all grade levels, faculty members, and school staff. Several students took part in the celebration as readers, choir members, and altar servers, making the event a collaborative expression of the school’s unity.
In her closing remarks, Mrs. Roberta M. Cagampang, the school principal, thanked the guest ministers and everyone who helped organize the event. “We are grateful to start this school year with a spirit of unity, peace, and faith. This monthly Mass reminds us that whatever challenges we face, we face them together—with hope,” she said.
The First Monthly Mass set a peaceful and inspiring tone for the rest of the school year, reinforcing Dusita High School’s commitment to nurturing not just academic excellence, but also spiritual and moral growth.
